Steve Jobs Natal Chart

steve job's birth chart

Steve Jobs was an American businessman best known as the magnetic co-founder of Apple Inc. In 1985 he was ousted as CEO and over the next 10 years he started another company called NeXT and also purchased an animation company from George Lucas that would later become Pixar. In 1996, NeXT was purchased by Apple and Jobs resumed his role as CEO there. He thereafter recharged Apple’s image with smart marketing campaigns introducing a string of revolutionary devices such as the ipod, iphone, and ipad. In 2011, Steve Jobs died after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born February 24, 1955 in San Francisco, California, Jobs was a 1st Decan Pisces with a Virgo Ascendant. Pisces and Virgo are antipodes of one another in the zodiac wheel. Their energies are oppositional but beneficial when compensating for each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Jobs had a restless and enterprising spirit and with his moon in Aries it is no wonder he was notorious for his hot temper.

steve job's birth chart

“My favorite things in life don’t cost any money. It’s really clear that the most precious resource we all have is time.” – Steve Jobs

Moon in Aries / Moon Sesquiquadrate Pluto
Moon in Aries people have an inner restlessness that compels them to be constantly active. They possess a lot of creative energy that needs to be sublimated into challenging and exciting projects where they feel their talents and abilities can shine. These people interact with others in a very direct, honest and confident way. Passionate and emotionally intense, Aries moon has the tendency to run rough-shod over other’s feelings when under stress. Their unwavering determination can turn to violent outbursts when the object of their goal is threatened and their efforts discomfited. The moon sesquiquadrate pluto aspect denotes power struggles to be an ever-present occurrence with this personality.

“Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith.” – Steve Jobs

Mars in Aries, House VIII / Mars Opposite Neptune
An aggressive approach to romance (or at least lustful attraction) is indicative of Mars in Aries, 8th house. These types do not beat around the bush when it comes to getting what they want. They are forward and candid with their partners and like to take control over them. Sometimes lovers are more like possessions than partners. Mars opposite Neptune suggests unrealistic idealism may lead this individual to bite off more than they can chew and bring about their own undoing.

“Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected.” – Steve Jobs

Ascendant in Virgo + Mercury in Aquarius / Venus Square Neptune / Venus Trine ASC
To the outside world, Virgo ascendants come across as analytical, cerebral and perfectionist. This contrasts with Job’s Sun Sign in Pisces which is way more laid back and passive, operating under a more receptive, intuitive mode of existence. The Virgo ascendant is interested in healthy lifestyle and helping others, in Job’s case, through making products that improve their lives. Virgo’s ruler is Mercury and in Job’s chart, occupies Aquarius, the sign of invention, eccentricity and rebellion. This indicates that his intellect is directed towards innovation and technology. His venus placements suggest he is foolhardy in love but also charming.

“Taking LSD was a profound experience, one of the most important things in my life.” – Steve Jobs

Sun in Pisces / Sun Trine Neptune
Jobs was a known pescatarian. During his early adulthood, he lived like a bohemian hippy and even traveled to India where he experienced a spiritual awakening. He dabbled with psychadelics and cited his encounter with LSD as “one of the most important things in my life”. Sun in Pisces has a natural attraction to spirituality and mysticism. They live in a highly subjective haze of often unrealistic ideals. Their imaginations often draw them away from the concrete world into their own personal realm of dreamy escapism. His sun being trine with neptune indicates a talent for channeling his vision and ideals in ways that inspire others.

“Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.” – Steve Jobs

Gemini in MC / Mecury Trine MC
Gemini in  the 10th house suggests an individual who can succeed in careers where communication is vital. Gemini’s ruler, Mercury, also happens to be trine with the midheaven which further indicates talent as a communicator in the professional sphere. Jobs was known for the intriguing presentation style with which he captivated audiences at his iconic keynote speeches. He did it with enthusiasm and charm because he genuinely believed in and loved what he was doing. In his own words, “…We’re having fun. I think our customers really like our products. And we’re always trying to do better.”
